UTM : Urchin Tracking Module, is a method that allows you to identify and track traffic coming from (in our case) the clicks of our campaign or email signature. To do this, the UTM should be placed at the end of your URL.
The UTM consists mainly of 3 main parameters (utm source/media/campaign) in order to define the media and the campaign used.
1st stage : We need to generate our new URL, using this tool: Campaign URL Builder of Google Analytics.
Here is the information you need to fill out:

Campaign Source : This is the source of the campaign, for example: “Banner”
Campaign Medium : Enter the medium used for your campaign, for example: “Email”

Share the generated campaign URL : You should now get a new URL generated automatically based on the information entered previously. This is the URL you will use to track your clicks.
